outdoors, however, when the weather shuts
down, there's our beautiful Fiordland
Cinema to catch
a movie, or rent a DVD from the local
stores and browse the many shops.
The Fiordland
Visitor Centre has an interesting history
and heritage display, a movie show about
Fiordland, quality books and tasteful
gifts.
It is also next to the Wildlife Park
where you can see Takahe and find
information about the Takahe
recovery programme.
The Te Anau library
is a comfortable place to catch up on
newspapers and magazines, or logon to the
free Wi-Fi wireless service. The library
has computers with free broadband
Internet available.
