HOLIDAY HOUSES PROFILE

  • Why choose Holiday House accommodation? You can enjoy your own privacy without intrusions from other guests or staff. There is plenty of space for you, the children, the car, and in some houses you can even bring the dog along too.

  • What does Fiordland Holiday Houses offer? Fiordland Holiday Houses advertises holiday homes for short-term rental and we manage the rental from A to Z for the house owner. We answer enquiries, process payments, confirm bookings, prepare the house for arrival and we folllow-up to ensure everything is satisfactory. We can also recommend and book Fiordland excursions.

BOOKINGS

  • How do I make a booking? Click on the navigation bar for either Te Anau or Manapouri holiday houses (the towns are 20kms/15 minutes drive apart). Each house has a calendar showing dates available and how many people can stay based on beds/sleeping facilities. Click the Email Enquiry or Contact link.

  • When do I receive Confirmation of Booking? After the deposit has been paid you will receive a "Confirmation of Booking" email within 12 - 24 hours.

  • Where do I get keys and house directions from? You will receive the holiday house address and key collection details after balance of payment processed.

  • What is the check-in & check-out time? Check-in time is after 2pm. Check-out time is 10am.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

  • Is a deposit required and when is the balance due? A deposit of NZ$100 is required to secure a booking and balance of payment is due at least 1 week prior to arrival.

  • Can I pay with credit card? No, sorry.

  • Can I pay via Direct Credit Deposit Online Banking? Yes, Direct Credit accepted. However, we still require Visa or Mastercard details to guarantee your booking.

CANCELLATIONS

  • What is the cancellation policy? Payment is refundable - less the deposit, provided you cancel more than 1 week (7 days) prior to your booked arrival date.
  • Cancellations received with less than 7 days notice before your arrival date, incur full loss of deposit and payment.

QUESTIONS or COMPLAINTS

  • If there's a problem with our accommodation - who do I contact? Contact details are on hand at each holiday house and fiordlandholidayhouses management team will respond promptly to your call, they are never more than 15 minutes drive from any holiday house location.

  • Are there medical and emergency services available? Yes, 24 hours medical services is available. The Medical Centre is located in Te Anau. Other services include: emergency ambulance, optomotrist, dentist, physiotherapy, chiropracter, pharmacists and child care services.

  • What is the breakages policy? You are responsible for paying to remedy breakages or damage to the holiday house and contents. Please report these as soon as possible / before you leave, or we reserve the right to charge your credit card. Accidental breakage is unavoidable and we do not normally charge for minor breakages e.g. glassware and crockery, provided these are reported before you leave.
